The Choir of the City Church offers a wonderful sequence of music for reflection, including William Byrd’s masterly motet ‘Ne Irascaris’, Gregorio Allegri’s iconic setting of Psalm 51, ‘Miserere Mei’, Adrian Boynton’s setting of David Gascoign’s ‘Slow are the years of light’ and John Stainer’s much-loved ‘The Crucifixion’.
With special guest soloists, and a brief reflection from Revd Wendy Carey, it promises to be an inspiring evening.
