MK Vigil – 20.03.19

There will be a vigil at the Milton Keynes Rose this Wednesday, 20th March at 5.30pm to commemorate those who died in the attacks on Mosques in Christchurch, New Zealand. All are welcome. Let us unite against religious hate crime in all its forms. Further details here

Plans for the New Year

Dear All With Trustees’ agreement, I am taking the period Jan-Mar to focus on a particular project planning for a learning hub in the city. Accordingly, I will not be available for other activity/meetings/service leading in the usual way until April. In that vein, can I ask please that you use the office email missionpartnership@talktalk.net rather than my personal work email account for anything other than learning hub correspondence as that will help to prevent me being drawn back into the “day job” and losing focus. coMPass – Spring 2019

In order to really focus on Scripture, we have decided to concentrate on one coMPass course during the Spring 2019 Term. We are very excited to offer the following: God’s Big Story – in bite-sized bits : The Drama of Salvation in Six Acts What is the Bible about?  How do we understand something so complex in a meaningful way? Is there a central, unifying message?  Much of it is narrative or in poetic form and uses unfamiliar concepts, rather than direct instruction, so why is that important today?  What are its key moments?  In just eight sessions we will survey...
