Isaiah imagines the offer of faith in God like a market place in which everything is for free. Our Mission Fair will be something of a market place in which all sorts of organisations will be exhibiting their wares: Bridgebuilder, Food Bank, HOPE MK, YMCA, Christian Foundation, Prison Chaplaincy, Make Lunch MK, Clean Slate, Business Christians, Radio Advertising, compass, SIEVE MK, Christians Against Poverty, Citizens:MK, Food Cupboard, MK Christian Environment Group, Money Lifeline and more will be there....

This year, we will have a large number of stalls for you to explore mission in MK, to be inspired by what is happening and perhaps even involved in one of the many opportunities in mission in the city. MK Christian Environment Group – Laudato Si’ Event

MK CHRISTIAN ENVIRONMENT GROUP LAUDATO SI’ TUESDAY 15 NOVEMBER This event which was originally planned for earlier in the year has been rescheduled and will take place on Tuesday 15th November – 7.30pm at Christ the Cornerstone, in the Small Hall. Chris Fegan, General Secretary of Catholic Concern for Animals, will give a presentation on Pope Francis’s encyclical on the environment.  This will be followed by a time for questions and discussion. Dear Friends, Earlier this week, Mother Teresa of Calcutta was canonised as a saint by the Roman Catholic Church. As the founder of the Missionaries of Charity, she developed an extraordinary ministry across 133 countries. This included homes for those dying from diseases which would make them shunned within their communities: HIV, leprosy, TB, as well as orphanages and schools, counselling programmes, clinics, soup kitchens. This stemmed from her insistence on a fourth vow in addition to the well-known monastic vows of poverty, chastity and obedience which required a wholehearted free service to the poorest of the poor.
